Waiting pays off

valoiseI'd about given up on the job in Kansas. As much as I love gardening and hate apartment living, I had was tired of throwing money away on rent and resigned myself to shopping for a condo. I could either afford a one-bedroom condo close to work and avoid the nasty commute or shoot for a townhouse 30-40 minutes away and have a teeny-tiny place to garden.
Then out of the blue I got a phone call to set up an interview for the Kansas job. Now I'm dreaming of craftsman-style bungalows and a large yard full of plants once again. All of this and I would still be doing a job I love for a decent paycheck. Fingers crossed.
