Snowy Seattle

valoiseOne of those rare days - four inches of snow and no signs of stopping. So I have the day off from work, a roaring fire in the fireplace and a steaming mug of coffee.
One thing I've noticed in Arkansas, Texas and here in Seattle is the snow-walkers. In places where a significant snowfall is rare and generally shuts everything down there are always those people who get out and walk through the neighborhood with a goofy grin on their faces. I grinned back at them today as I was crunching my way through the snow.
