Rant on the ephemeral access of streaming media

Inspired by Tafadhali's recent vid Oh, What a World that premiered at VidUKon, I recently had an urge to rewatch all of Wes Anderson's movies starting with Bottle Rocket on through The Phoenician Scheme. Guess what - not streaming anywhere. Tried Justwatch and came up empty. Tried the Roku search on my tv - nada. Places to rent, sure, but if I want to spend money on stuff I would rather have something I could rewatch when the mood strikes. This right here is why I continue to buy physical media

Exactly. If I don't own it, I don't want to pay for it. Other people can do what they want, and my money can stay in my pocket. I have an infinite list of other things I could be doing.
