Celebrating HL the Series

I'm excited about hl_chronicles and if I can figure out a vid idea to fit the challenge themes, I'm definitely in. But even if I don't do a vid for the I like the idea and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with, especially the fic. I've been working on an Amanda vid and it's got me in a real Highlander kind of mood.

Also, I'm wrapping up the month doing HL recs on crack_van but last time I checked no one else had signed up to do recs in the fandom.

Thanks for thinking about it! I know it will be challenging with a vid, but if you have any thoughts about how to make it work, we'll be thrilled. One idea I had was for the Reboot challenge, to do a new, modern-style Highlander credits sequence or movie trailer.

If I did anything, I think I'd probably incorporate outside source material into it in some way. I'm busy with a couple of things for Vividcon, but I'll put Highlander on the back burner, mentally, and let it simmer awhile and see if anything comes together.

That's a great idea! And it makes me think, a crossover vid could work, too. If you crossed one or more HL characters into a current show (or movie), that would fit as well.

Crossover might work, Peter is the only one with a lot of recently available work to choose from. I'd need to track down some stuff, but I could definitely get MacLeod, Joe and all of the Horseman.

Another idea, stepping outside this thought a little, I could do something with all those photos I've been taking at cons for the past few years. I've got photos of everyone from the past few years.
