valoise | Poor old computer files

I've been thinking for several years about finding a home for my old X-files fanfic. Written between 1995 or so and 2003, I hadn't looked at the files for years, but I got an invite to Archive of Our Own and was going to sit down and post them this evening. Big problem. They were written in an archaic version of Appleworks that the is no longer supported. I finally got them to open with TextEdit, but there's lost formatting aplenty. So, I guess I'll be cleaning up a few stories a week and posting them under the J. Millington pseudonym that I started using when I drifted over into writing slash.
